Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL) announced the appointment of Le Trang as the new country head of JLL Vietnam on February 26, effective from March 1.
In nearly 20 years in the Vietnamese market, this is the first time a Vietnamese person has been appointed to the head position of this company.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, her appointment reinforces JLL’s longer-term ambitions and ongoing commitment to Vietnam as a key market within its broader Southeast Asia growth strategy.
Trang will assume responsibility for JLL’s entire operations in Vietnam, with oversight for business lines, balance sheet, development and execution of strategy and advisory, and support for clients in navigating the country’s dynamic real estate landscape. She will also remain in her current role as head of Research and Consultancy, Vietnam, in addition to broader responsibilities.
She brings extensive experience in the Vietnam real estate industry and a track record of delivering value to clients to her Country Head role. Trang has been an integral part of JLL since 2016, playing a key role in driving growth and strengthening JLL’s position in Vietnam.
“Vietnam is one of the most important and exciting real estate markets in Southeast Asia, offering diversified opportunities for investors and businesses. Trang’s leadership and profound market knowledge will be instrumental in helping JLL and our clients achieve success in this rapidly evolving landscape,” said Michael Glancy, Managing Director, JLL Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
“Her ability to foster strong client relationships and drive strategic initiatives makes her the natural leader to take JLL Vietnam to the next level,” Glancy added.
Trang is widely recognised for her thought leadership in the Vietnam real estate sector, frequently contributing to key real estate discussions and market insights at both JLL-hosted and external forums.
She will work closely with JLL’s Southeast Asia leadership team in her new role to enhance cross-border collaboration, underscoring the firm’s standing as a trusted partner for investors, occupiers, and developers looking to set up and expand in Vietnam.
“Vietnam’s real estate market is evolving rapidly, and it is in this contact that I’m honoured to lead JLL’s next phase of growth in close partnership with our talented on-the-ground team and regional experts to better serve the maturing demands of our diverse client base,” said Trang.
“With strong economic fundamentals, increasing foreign investment, and evolving urban development trends, Vietnam offers immense growth potential, and we believe are well-positioned to create enhanced value for our clients,” she added.
With a history of development of more than 200 years, JLL is a major commercial real estate and investment management company on the Fortune 500 list with annual revenues of more than $23 billion and operations in more than 80 countries around the world.
